Carlisle rehearsal
David has phoned says that he would like to rehearse with the choir and orchestra at 5.30 in the church in Carlisle. I explained that some of our people work quite late in the day and will not necessarily be able to make that time. He explained that he can only have the orchestra until 6.30 (otherwise it's overtime, and there's none of that!) and there is a lot to do - Nelson Mass Gloria, Messiah & Panis Angelicus (with Donald conducting).

Before you jump off a high building, listen to the competition.
The coach will be leaving Gosforth Civic Hall at 1.30 pm (arriving at Washington Service Area at about 1.50 / 2.00 - depending on how quickly we get away from Gosforth and the volume of traffic.) We are scheduled to arrive in Beverley at approximately 5.15 pm (there will be a short stop en route). The cost is £8.00 per person. This will be collected on the coach.
Gosforth Civic Hall, Regent Centre, Regent Farm Road, Gosforth NE3 3HD. The hall is on a corner near the library (which is being renovated at the moment). It is only a few yards inside Regent Farm Road. Annamaria assures me that there will be plenty of parking spaces there and if you are coming by metro, it is just around the corner.
